the file implementing the erroneous formula

Problem description: the result of a formula is not good 1+3=1 !!!

Steps to reproduce:
1. open target.ods
2. go to calctarget sheet and have a look to A2 cell (=testvalue1+testvalue2)

Current behavior:
the result is 1 but testvalue1=1 and testvalue3=3

Expected behavior:
1+3=4
very curious: I produced that by adding and removing named cells in two documents opened simultaneously and making copy/paste operations to test another bug.

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0

Even more curious, do the fololwing:
have a look at the value of testvalue3 (ctrl+F3), it point to data1.$A$3 if the sheet data1 is displayed, data2.$a$3 if the sheet data2 is displayed and calctarget.$A$3 with the last sheet. The scope of testvalue3 is yet "global"!

"testvalue3=3" NOT reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.5.3.2 (RC2) German UI/Locale [Build-ID: 235ab8a-3802056-4a8fed3-2d66ea8-e241b80] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)

@manugmnet@gmail.com:
I can not reproduce you result for "testvalue3", please explain! As definition for "testvalue3=3" I see "calctarget.$A$3", what is an empty cell
Do you get different results with other LibO Versions?
Comment 3 manugmnet 2012-05-09 02:28:56 UTC
Indeed, go to sheet data1 or data1 and type ctrl+F3, you will see that the definition of testvalue3 change alone ! (not expected as the scope is global, right?) I didn't notice that at the begining as I had defined testvalue3=data1.$A$1 (which contains the value "3"). This explain my first nalysis of the bug. Thanks!
Comment 4 manugmnet 2012-05-09 23:59:11 UTC
More precision: here is the version of my LibreOffice
LibreOffice 3.5.3.2 French translation
Version ID : 235ab8a-3802056-4a8fed3-2d66ea8-e241b80
Linux Ubuntu 10.04

Perhaps, should the title of the bug be modified? for exemple: "reference of a named cell is erroneously modified depending of the actual sheet"

Currently I cant understand the problem, I do not see any bug. Please contribute a complete coherent description "WHAT is unexpected + WHY do you think it's unexpected")?
It might be better to close this report and to submit a new Bug if you think that there is a problem.

Hello Rainer,

Ok Thank you for your help. My english is not so good and then not so precise to explain my problem. Il will submit a new bug as you advive me. How to close this one?

Just to go one step forward, could you tell me when you open my file, to which cell(reference) is assigned testvalue3 when you go to sheet data1? same question when you go to sheet calctarget? Thank you.

Manu

@manugmnet@gmail.com
Don't worry about the Bugzilla dashboard, we will do that. Only think about the bug description.

>... to which cell(reference) is assigned testvalue3 when you go to sheet data1?

"testvalue1" is always related to sheet $data1
"testvalue3" is related to a range on the sheet from where I open 'Insert Name'
           dialog

May be hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> will help you to find out what information will be useful to reproduce your problem? If you believe that that is really sophisticated please as for Help on a user mailing list
Please:
- Write a meaningful Summary describing exactly what the problem is
- Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every
  mouse click how to reproduce your problem (due to example in Bug 43431)
– if possible contribute an instruction how to create a sample document
  from the scratch (IMHO most interesting)
- add information
  -- what EXACTLY is unexpected
  -- and WHY do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!)
  -- concerning your OS (Version, Distribution, Language)
  -- concerning your LibO localization (UI language, Locale setting)
  –- Libo settings that might be related to your problems
  -- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document
  -- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts

Closing Bug due to reporter's inactivity.

@reporter:
Please feel free to reopen this bug if you find out that the problem still exists with the current stable LibreOffice version and if you can contribute requested additional information due to <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> (especially BugReport Details)!
