In the Table Design window there is a scroll bar, but I'm not able to scroll using gestures on my trackpad.

Thank you very much for your report!

However, in order to find a solution for the problem, we need to reproduce it, and this is not that easy:

NOT REPRODUCIBLE with LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 (Build ID: 165a79a-7059095-e13bb37-fef39a4-9503d18), German langpack installed, on MacOS X 10.6.8, German UI.

What I have done to test:
1) Start LibreOffice
2) Create a new (empty) Database, save it
3) In the database window, section "Database", select "Tables"
4) In the database window, section "Tasks", click on "Create Table in Design View..."
5) A new window appears, entitled "New Database.odb: Table1 – LibreOffice Base: Table design.
6) In this window there is a large table with the columns "Field Name"/"Field Type"/"Description" and with a vertical scroll bar. It is empty at the moment, but I can scroll it with gestures (i.e., put two fingers on the trackpad and move them up and/or down to scroll the table).
7) If I add some entries to the large table, I can still scroll the table with gestures.
=> So, for me, everything seems to work as expected. Hm ...

@juliet:
Have I done the right test, i.e., is your report about the same window and the same table + scroll bar? Do you mean the same gesture? Or am I missing something?

Do you see the problem with any database, even with an empty one (as I have tested), or just with one/some specific databases?

Which version of MacOS X do you use?

Thank you very much for your answers in advance!

Hi, sorry for the delay.
Your reproduction looks appropriate. I am not remembering my specific experience, so I tried to reproduce and had no issues. So, nothing we can do.

But I will say that my scrolling via Magic Track Pad does act funny in general in Libre Office, in ways that I don't see with any other program.
