After update to latest LibreOffice 3.5.4.2, the behaviour becomes very bad, and Calc haangs each time you need to click on a button, edit a formula, resize windows ...etc... while it was working fine the version just before.
@manuel.flury@gmail.com For clarification: LibO does not "hang" (what means it will not respond any longer and will have to be closed via operating system and to e restarted), but after more or less every edit action (mouse click, key press) you have to wait until you see reaction on screen and can do next action?

Absolutely, if you wait you always get control back.
Related to Bug "46160 - Calc UI: Unacceptable lag when editing spreadsheet cells"? But that one should have been fixed for 3.5.4

Created attachment 63228 [details] basic script causing Calc slow down this module contains some macros and functions used in Calc for byte manipulation (hex conversion, CRC8 calculations). starting from LibO 3.5.4.2 I experienced a hard slow down of performance, which could be removed by deleting this module. In previous versions of LibO (and OpenOffice) I had no problems with that.

Hi, I tried to rename C:\Program Files\LibreOffice 3.5\presets\basic\Standard\Module1.xba to something else, but the problem is still here. Is that what you suggested to do ?
I don't understand how to reproduce the problems, seems I can#t help here.
Hi, Using version 3.6.1.2 I have no more problems.
