claudia: I searched about the same type of bugs and had this list : https://bugs.freedesktop.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=specific&order=relevance%20desc&bug_status=__all__&product=LibreOffice&content=spellcheck&list_id=88970 Some of them suggest hints : 1) It could be an extensions synchro problem - https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50825#c2) 2) check language selected for the text - https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38521#c1 - https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45064#c1 If the bug is still reproduced, could you confirm when you uninstalled and reinstall it LO, you also had a brand new LO profile ? (see http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) Finally : could you give the language you use ? Could you try to install the last LO version (3.5.4 final instead of 3.5.4 RC1) ?
