Check whether notes after 116 are lost after conversion Operating System: Ubuntu Last worked in: 3.6.2.2 release

One more thing: in the original document I'd set the footnote numeration to restart at every chapter. But the conversion process also deletes that customization. That's another thing I'd like to fix.
remove "regression" keyword that was added by that buggy BSA thing
NOT reproduced on libo 4 Version 4.0.0.0.beta1+ (Build ID: 6d4a55bf38a1c470c49f904dbbddf94eb2f6154) Notes are present in DOCX document. What I have try : - Export to docx => last note "554 S. BERNARD, De consider. 2,8 PL 182,751" - Open ODT file directly with Word2010 => same last note. RESTART at every chapter is not converted by Libo, but is not converted too by Word2010... Strange...
I was not able to confirm that footnotes were lost after the conversion using LibreOffice 4.0 on Ubuntu 12.04. However, like ydutrieux@gmail.com confirmed, if you open the new docx with Word, the numbers of footnotes do not start over per chapter. The same docx opened with LibreOffice shows the numbers of footnotes start over.

Whatever the problem here, Bug 51784 and Bug 55725 could be marked as duplicate because there is no data there to prove otherwise. By the way, document here seems to suffer from Bug 64026 - Footnotes and Endnotes Get Strange Spacing (tabed) when Saving As .Doc or .Docx.
Hello guys, now after updating to LibreOffice 4, it just crashes, it doesn't even manage to convert it.

As noted in https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64026#c16, there seem to have been some changes here. Anyway, problem NOT reproducible with LO 4.1.2 on Windows. All 554 footnotes present. Opening of converted docx is terribly slow in LO, or it just hangs. I write that in Bug 59918. Concerning the problem that "the conversion process spoils footnote numeration to restart at every chapter" LO supports footnotes to restart at every chapter (apart from end of page and end of document), while MS Office 2013 doesn't. I cannot open the new docx with Word, to verify that the numbers of footnotes do not start over per chapter. The same docx opened with LibreOffice shows the numbers of footnotes DON'T start over at new chapter. I don't know whether it's supported at all in docx, but it seems that neither LO nor MS support the restart at the new chapter in docx.

But, please, each other problem should be reported separately. > Concerning the problem that "the conversion process spoils footnote > numeration to restart at every chapter" LO supports footnotes to restart at > every chapter (apart from end of page and end of document), while MS Office > 2013 doesn't. > I cannot open the new docx with Word, to verify that the numbers of > footnotes do not start over per chapter. > The same docx opened with LibreOffice shows the numbers of footnotes DON'T > start over at new chapter. > I don't know whether it's supported at all in docx, but it seems that > neither LO nor MS support the restart at the new chapter in docx. Just to add as an example: footnote "CANO M., De locis, cit., p. 4..." is no1 again in ODT and still no21 in DOCX. If this is confirmed as LO bug, that should be reported separately as a new bug.
