Description Jesper Laugesen 2013-01-30 14:36:04 UTC
Problem description:
I download the torrent, and download the torrent effortlessly. As soon as I'm done downloading and start to seed, I receive the following error from the tracker:
"Failure: Your client's "key" paramater and the key we have for you in our database do not match"
(the spelling error "paramater" occurs in the error message)

I'm using Windows 7, and utorrent 3.2.3. I have reproduced the bug on 3 different computers.

Steps to reproduce:
1. from http://da.libreoffice.org/hent-libreoffice/, download torrent http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/3.6.5/win/x86/LibO_3.6.5_Win_x86_helppack_da.msi.torrent
(or other danish helppack. Same problem occurs with stable as well as test versions)

2. Download the file in utorrent

3. When download is finished, update tracker, and the error occurs.

Current behavior:
"Failure: Your client's "key" paramater and the key we have for you in our database do not match"

Expected behavior:
Operating System: Windows 7
Version: rc
Comment 1 Jesper Laugesen 2013-01-30 14:37:32 UTC
The error does not occur when downloading the torrent for the main installation program (http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/3.6.5/win/x86/LibO_3.6.5_Win_x86_install_multi.msi.torrent)

Confirmed on Windows 7 (x64), and utorrent 3.2.3. Error message can be found in the tracker tab, under the status heading. Thank you for reporting this bug Jesper

I also confirm this bug on Mac OS X 10.7, uTorrent 1.8.4 for Mac, and LibreOffice 4.0.3.

"It's a bug with the randomized peer id function. Turn it off in the advanced preferences."
