For My Tests I install GeoMap 3.0.0

Already [Reproducible] with unzipped installation of "LOdev 4.0.0.0.alpha1+ - ENGLISH UI / German Locale [Build ID: af60316514f3ae3d4c475819bf86f2af837171e)]" {tinderbox: Win-x86@6, pull time 2012-11-23 22:10:31} on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) with own separate User Profile .
Comment 2 Thomas Hackert 2013-02-03 16:25:17 UTC
Hello Rainer, *,
as the original reporter on the discuss@de.l.o ML, I want to add some additional information here ... ;)

I have installed LO Version 3.6.5.2 (Build ID: 5b93205) as well as a parallel installed Version 4.0.0.3 (Build ID: 7545bee9c2a0782548772a21bc84a9dcc583b89) with Germanophone help- and langpack under Debian Testing AMD64. I followed the instruction on https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel (or better:https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/de#Schritt_4_.28Optional_aber_f.C3.BCrs_Testen_empfohlen.29:_.C3.84ndern_des_Ablageortes_f.C3.BCr_das_Benutzerprofil) to use a different user directory, so it does not interfere w/ my installed 3.6.5 ... ;) During the first start of LO 4.0.0.3, it migrates my settings (as well as the Extensions) from 3.6.5.

Steps to reproduce:
1.  I opened "Tools - Extension Manager“,
2. clicked on "Check for updates",
3. marked "Show all updates"

In "Description" you will find the error message
<quote>
An error occurred:
Premature end of data in tag html line 1
Line: 9
Column: 1
</quote>
, as Rainer has reported before ... :( I did not install any Extension to LO 4.0.0.3, but it was imported with the First-Start-Wizard.
Sorry for the inconvenience and HTH
Thomas.

[Reproducible] with unzipped installation of "LOdev 4.0.0.0.alpha1+ - ENGLISH UI / German Locale [Build ID: af60316514f3ae3d4c475819bf86f2af837171e)]" {tinderbox: Win-x86@6, pull time 2012-11-23 22:10:31} on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) with own separate User Profile

Was still ok with server-installation of Master "3.7.0alpha0+ – WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) ENGLISH UI [Build ID: b255de8]" (tinderbox: Win-x86@6-fast, pull time 2012-06-05 23:16:58)

(In reply to comment #2)
I can't check box "Show all updates" if only default Extensions are available in new user profile. I doubt that that has to do with this bug, might be a different one (or does LibO not accept updates for bundled Extensions?).
