I have confirmed this issue using LibreOffice 4.0.1.0+ on Ubuntu 12.04. The steps I followed to reproduce: 1. Go to Edit -> Changes ... enable Show. 2. Edit some of the text in the heading. Changes are visible. 3. Currently, the ToC shows none of the changes, and you can click on the old ToC listing and go to the recently changed entry in the document. 4. Right click ToC, and select Update... Result: ToC shows the heading with even text that is deleted. This does not occur if Show is not enabled under Edit -> Changes. Sounds like it's just copying the text from the line as visible...

For me, the bug is not that the ToC shows the deleted text (you asked for that with track changes), it is that the ToC does not show the deleted text the same way as in the heading (that is as deleted text). Best regards. JBF

Still reproducible with LO 5.4.1.0.0+ built at home under Ubuntu 16.04 x86-64. That said the deleted contents is not really deleted until that change is accepted. The bug is that the ToC does not show the modified text the same way it is in the text body. Best regards. JBF
