Created attachment 76460 [details] Bug's screenshot 'About' window in LibreOffice doesn't have a caption. This is also reflected in taskbar panel (I don't know how it is exactly called in english. Just a panel which is on bottom with default settings and all Windows are shown there as a small panels). I attached a screenshot with it.
hi, Thanks for reporting, but I can not reproduce this anymore using Linux Mint 15 x64 with LibreOffice 4.0.3.3. There is now 'LibreOffice 4.0' in the window title. Can you verify that? Kind regards, Joren
Jorendc, I updated LO via update manager in Lubuntu 12.04 to 4.0.3.3. But problem still exists. I have same situation with GUI. Only version was changed in About dialog.

4.2.3.3 shows "LibreOffice 4.2" in the title of the about window under ubuntu 14.04. If this persists with that or a newer version, please re-open.

Looks like this is Xubuntu related or Ubuntu 12.x specific. Thanks for the update.
Reproducible with 4.3.0.2 under Windows 7. Indeed this dialog doesn't have a title - have a look at http://opengrok.libreoffice.org/xref/core/cui/uiconfig/ui/aboutdialog.ui. The title "LibreOffice 4.2" mentioned here is set by the window manager (for any window without a title), not by LO.
Adolfo Jayme Barrientos committed a patch related to this issue.
