Description Adolfo Jayme Barrientos 2013-03-16 06:20:13 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #62385 +++

Hello,

Currently Libreoffice uses its own drop down menus, which are small in diameter, and sometimes it is really hard to find stuff in it (especially in crowded menus like Calc currency select).

Instead LO could use native GTK+ drop down menus, which looks aesthetically more pleasing, and easy to use because of the expansion capabilities.

A valid enhancement request, thus setting status to "NEW".
Comment 2 Adolfo Jayme Barrientos 2015-06-06 18:35:08 UTC
@Caolán: do we still want to improve the GTK+ 2-based backend, or will we push towards making GTK+ 3 the default?

This is solved thanks to Caolán’s “welding” effort. ✋
