Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. wrote a text 2. marked passage in the text 3. wantet to insert 4. no reaction of the programm 5. new (re)start and restauration failed Current behavior: Expected behavior: Operating System: Windows XP Version: 4.0.2.1 rc
Not enough information to triage/confirm. What does "marked passage in the text" mean? Wanted to insert, what's the referring to? Please clarify what you did to cause crash and we will try to reproduce. I am marking this as NEEDINFO, once you provide additional information mark as UNCONFIRMED. Also does this happen every time or did it just happen one time?
Hallo, it happend one time - but I use libre-office first for a short time (1 week - I used Apache-Office before); 'marked passage' means, that I inverted a text-passage in order to copy it - it was a simple text, without any special signs or other elements; then, when I tried to insert the text-passage, I had the crash; after restarting the restore-managment didn't work: the whole text was gone ... another problem with libre-office: as I described I use it since 1 week; I started it about 10 times; at about 5 times (nearly the half) the font isn't (still) correctly performed, means: I can f.e. choose 'comic sans', but in the selection-window it is performed in 'arial' (also all the other fonds are illustrated in 'arial'); this kind of fault still happens - curiously not always. Jürgen: Please don't cumulate 2 buggy behaviours in 1 tracker because it can't be managed easily. So about font problem, open a new tracker. Also, don't answer to bugzilla messages from your mailer but directly in bugzilla by using this link: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62857#add_comment About initial problem, do you reproduce this with a brand new file or a specific file? If specific, could you attach the file?
Hallo- concerning the initial problem: it happened with a brand new file without any specification ... If it only happened 1 time and you are unable to reproduce again then this bug will be closed as WORKSFORME as I haven't seen any other similar issues and we are unable to track down the problem if it was a one time occurance with no consistently reproducible steps. I am marking as WORKSFORME, if you figure out something that causes consistent (or somewhat consistent) crashes, please reopen the bug and give appropriate steps. Thanks for your understanding.
