Hi, another bug.
See attached xls.

And see also pictures in latest libreoffice and Excel 2013. 

SOrry for confussing summary, it is very hard to create one.

The bug is still present in the version of 

Version: 4.4.3.1
Build ID: b2f347f2ac68821efc00b6f1793cda90af748118
Locale: en_US

No changes in regard to rendering of captions. 

Tested on Windows 8-64 bit.

As soon as I turn on design mode (Tools - Forms - Design Mode), then I can see all of the text.
