Description Matt 2013-05-18 09:14:28 UTC
When you paste a large amount of text into word and then start to format it problems begin.

Have several large blocks of text which has been separated by page breaks.

As soon as you select heading format and apply to the Heading it also applies to the body Text, and as soon as you separate and select the body text and apply separate formatting it also applies to the Heading text even with line breaks, entered pressed several lines space between etc.

Could you provide related materials to test & how to reproduce it?

To Tech support

Please find enclosed a sample of the text one was trying to edit. The
problem is that if you change one aspect it all changes, no way to change
one part, and this applies for all the document, about 15 pages.

One trusts this can be sorted.

With thanks

Matt Adlard

I saw nothing wrong with that file (using LO 4.0.3.3 Win7 32bit)

Maybe I misunderstood with your explanation. So please provide more detailed information:
- your spesific Linux distro
- step by step procedure to see the problem

And could you retest using latest LO release (3.6.6.2 or 4.0.3.3) ?

PS: please remove previous message when replying via email
