I have tried to update LO on two different machines at two different locations, one an XP and the other a Win 7. In both cases I get a nastygram about Error 1335 saying that the cabinet file "libreoffice1.cab" is corrupt. Downloading a second time does not fix the problem Bob Fehrenbach Brookfield, WI
At the following site you will find checksums - please verify your download: http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/4.0.4/win/x86/LibreOffice_4.0.4_Win_x86.msi.mirrorlist
Bob: in addition to what bfoman said, did you download from http://www.libreoffice.org/download or from another website?
The file that failed was downloaded from the LO site. Later I downloaded a file from Source forge that worked fine. Bob: please don't answer from your emailer but from the add comment link: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66275# Thank you for your feedback, I put it as WFM. If you have some time (and feel like!), you can: - uninstall 4.0.4 - download 4.0.3 - install 4.0.3 - try to update from LO website Again, if you feel like since i know it's a bit tedious
