Description Bob Fehrenbach 2013-06-27 20:51:58 UTC
I have tried to update LO on two different machines at two different locations,
one an XP and the other a Win 7. In both cases I get a nastygram about Error 1335
saying that the cabinet file "libreoffice1.cab" is corrupt. Downloading a second
time does not fix the problem

At the following site you will find checksums - please verify your download:

Bob: in addition to what bfoman said, did you download from http://www.libreoffice.org/download or from another website?
Comment 3 Bob Fehrenbach 2013-06-30 16:07:34 UTC
The file that failed was downloaded from the LO site. Later I downloaded a
file from Source forge that worked fine.

Bob: please don't answer from your emailer but from the add comment link:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66275#

Thank you for your feedback, I put it as WFM.
If you have some time (and feel like!), you can:
- uninstall 4.0.4
- download 4.0.3
- install 4.0.3
- try to update from LO website
Again, if you feel like since i know it's a bit tedious
