Created attachment 84411 [details] copies LO crash report Critical - after working on three .ods spreadsheets for about half an hour LO hangs (two successive occurrences). Using os x activity monitor to cancel program in turn leads to os x finder (the file browser) hanging. Decided to restart system both times. Diagnostics attached.
ralph: would it be possible you attach one of the ods file so we can try to reproduce?
Created attachment 84477 [details] soffice_2013-08-21-105628_ralph5siMac.crash Julien - both files are attached. Thanks, Ralph

Ralph: you attached crash info files, in my previous comment I meant the ods files not the crash results.

on pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, no specific console logs or hanging at the opening. Ralph: thank you for your feedback. However, you need to find a way to reproduce easily the problem. What tools did you use? Autofilter, pivot table, functions? Indeed, without a way to reproduce this, we'll be quite stuck. Did you install any LO specific extensions?
No extensions, everything done in a basic manner. Dates by hand. Formatting also. I think two separate spreadsheets led to two separate crashes, both set up equally plainly. I was really surprised that the finder also went down. This and 68401 seem to be local problems imo. Can't reproduce on OS X 10.8.4 and LO 4.2 master nor 4.1.1.1. Could you try with the latest pre-release and see if the problem persists. I'm not sure we need two bugs for this case. Imo 68401 can be closed. We have 68400 for the crash. I'd like a second opinion on this. So if you agree please close 68401 and continue here.
ralph: For the test, could you rename your LO directory profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) and give it a new try?
