I cannot download the latest Libreoffice from http://mirror.catn.com/pub/tdf/libreoffice/stable/4.1.1/win/x86/LibreOffice_4.1.1_Win_x86.msi because Microsoft Forefront says:

Access Denied

The page you are trying to browse to is categorized as "Spam URLs"

Does it work when you choose a different mirror from http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/4.1.1/win/x86/LibreOffice_4.1.1_Win_x86.msi.mirrorlist ?

Does it yield any further errors or details, can you get more information from the system as why the download is blocked?

Can you try downloading some other files from the page? I assume that your system in general blocks downloading MSI installers.

No, category "Spam URL" is explained here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/isablog/archive/2010/01/03/categories-for-url-filtering.aspx

So it seems the host catn.com has a bad reputation

Oh, I'm terribly sorry, I misread your previous posting as "doesn't work for other mirrors either". My bad!

I'll poke the catn.com admin about this issue.

I think we cannot do much about this, as we lack insight into why it's blocked, and as we do not run the site on our own.

Can you raise it directly with the site's admins at mirror@catn.com ?

I’m closing as NOTOURBUG. While I haven’t used Forefront, it’s likely that (by this time) either the Forefront definitions have been updated, or the offending mirror changed its content; both circumstances could have mitigated the issue in the meantime.

I’ve also corrected the wrong “Blocker” importance, which doesn’t apply here.
