Problem description: Steps to reproduce: 1. Select a column with data 2. Cut it (takes a lot of time) 3. Select other column 4. Paste (tkaes a lot of time, sometimes freezes LO) Current behavior: Working with common data and formules Expected behavior: Peste the entire column When these happends, I use many ways to getback the control of LO, but it seems that warning message is hidden. Worry for losting my work, I shutdown my pc, when system shows that an aplicattion is working with an unsaved file, I cancel the shutdown and then I see the message to save file. Operating System: Windows 7 Version: 4.1.2.3 release
Hi Antonio, Is it possible to attach a document you can reproduce the behavior? Also, does resetting your user profile help? (guide: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile) Kind regards, Joren
Adding an advance Calc QA member :).
Please provide a test case - Select a column with data doesn't give us enough to triage. Marking as NEEDINFO - once you provide a test case please mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED and I'll take a look at it :)
Hi The is my first bug report. How can I do that test? There is no particular document to get that situation, it happends in new documents too My PC is a lenovo S205 laptop, 4 GB ram, HDD 500GB, CPU AMD E450 Thanks Antonio González Fayad - *Asesor Informático* Proveedor de Soluciones en Hardware y Software Cel.300 8112330 "Si no te muestras como eres, el mundo no sabrá darte lo que quieres" 2013/11/14 <bugzilla-daemon@freedesktop.org> > Joel Madero <jmadero.dev@gmail.com> changed bug 71611<https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71611> > What Removed Added Status UNCONFIRMED NEEDINFO Ever confirmed 1 > > *Comment # 3 <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71611#c3> on > bug 71611 <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71611> from Joel > Madero <jmadero.dev@gmail.com> * > > Please provide a test case - Select a column with data doesn't give us enough > to triage. > > > Marking as NEEDINFO - once you provide a test case please mark the bug as > UNCONFIRMED and I'll take a look at it :) > > ------------------------------ > You are receiving this mail because: > > - You reported the bug. > >
You need to actually come to the website (FDO) vs. responding via email (we advice not to do this). Then you'll see "add an attachment" So I'll take a stab at instructions (please verify if they are correct) 1. Open calc 2. Write in column a (going down) (1,2,3,4) in A1, A2, A3, A4 respectively 3. Cut the column I should see a big delay here? then 4. Select column c 5. Right click and do "paste" and I should see another delay? That simple? I suspect this is something about your system as I'd think lots of people would be reporting this but if that's all it takes I'll test it tonight on Windows 8 and Windows 7 when I get home
Also what I can say is Linux does not experience any issues with the steps that I just provided using Version: 4.1.1.2.
