In LibreOffice 4.2 Beta1, the UI does not yet show Microsoft Office 2013 on import/export of Microsoft formats. Like bug 36735 this is missing in the file dialogs and needs to be added. Example: Microsoft Word 2007/3010 XML -> Microsoft Word 2007/3010/2013 XML This refers to following import/export filters: Import: Microsoft Word 2007/2010/2013 XML Microsoft Word 2007/2010/2013 XML Template Microsoft Excel 2007/2010/2013 XML Microsoft Excel 2007/2010/2013 XML Template Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010/2013 XML Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010/2013 XML Template Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010/2013 XML AutoPlay Export: Microsoft Word 2007/2010/2013 XML (.docx) Microsoft Excel 2007/2010/2013 XML (.xlsx) Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010/2013 XML (.pptx) Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010/2013 XML Template (.potm) Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010/2013 XML AutoPlay (.ppsx)

Next time we need to find out a better wording, such as Word Document (.docx) and Word 97-2003 Document (.doc), because more years in the filter name will be awkward.

Thanks! That was quick. You are right, the more MS Office versions, the more awkward the wording will be.
