Created attachment 90324 [details] Document demonstrated incorrect graphics rendering This report may duplicate earlier ones. The attached file originated from a document written in earlier version of MSWord. The attached file is a fragment of the original document, extracted and edited and saved in "Microsoft Word XP/97/2000(.doc)" format using OpenOffice Writer. OpenOffice Writer renders the graphics correctly. LibreOffice Writer running under MSWin XP does not render the graphics correctly. It shows the graph grids and notations, but does not show the data, that is, the graphed lines. For other figures, not shown in the attachment, LibreOffice Writer does any graphics content. The problem occurs both with the original file, written only by MSWord, and with the extract written by OpenOffice Writer.
The third sentence, in the fourth paragraph of the original report should read: "For other figures, not shown in the attachment, LibreOffice Writer does not show any any graphics content." The original report instead contains the sentence "For other figures, not shown in the attachment, LibreOffice Writer does any graphics content."
Thank you for your bug report, I can reproduce this bug running Version: 4.2.0.0.beta2 Build ID: 1a27be92e320f97c20d581a69ef1c8b99ea9885d OS: Mac osx 10.9. The data is indeed not loaded in LibreOffice. The data loads fine in Microsoft Office 2010

This entry responds to a request from bugzilla-daemon@bugs.documentfoundation.org to check bug 72372. Using the attachment submitted on 2013-12-05, attachment 90324 [details], version 4.4.2.2 of Libre Offfice running under MS Win XP performs better than version 4.2.x.x, but still does not render the graphics correctly. Version 4.4.2.2 shows the graph grids and notations. This version does partially show the data, that is, the graphed lines. But the lines are all rendered in the same style; they have the same thickness and the all solid lines. The original shows thinner lines, some of which are solid and some of which are dashed lines. OpenOffice swrite version 3.1.1 renders the graphics correctly from attachment 90324 [details].
