Updating version - at least presentsince 4.1.3.2
Hi guys, I'm interested in working in this bug. I know we need to understand how OOXML handles this, but there is some documents and code pointers where we can touch this?

The bug is still present in LO 7.4.4.2: The text is a single colour, not a graded yellow. Version: 7.4.4.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 85569322deea74ec9134968a29af2df5663baa21 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: da-DK (da_DK); UI: da-DK Calc: threaded Interestingly, the colour of the text has changed over time: The original report was white text. Comment 10 on LO 5.2.3.2 reports yellow text (no grade). Now the text is black (still no grade) Doing a little testing, it was yellow still in LO 7.1.7.2 and black by LO 7.2.3.2, i.e. the latest change in behaviour seems to be somewhere in the 7.2.x line or the shift from 7.1.x to 7.2.x. I have not investigated this in detail, as it is just a change from one buggy behaviour to another buggy behaviour, compared to the original grading seen in MS PowerPoint.
Gradients for characters are not implemented at all and not supported by strict ODF. So that is not a bug but would be an enhancement request. I consider it as bug, that the character color is not Yellow. Solid character color is possible and should be near to the gradient colors.
