Description Boris 2014-01-22 10:18:12 UTC
I use three languages in my docs, but I prefer US English for user interface (menus...). It starts to be confusing to figure out exactly what menu items do when you switch languages all the time. So I need just one language for my menus.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install LO 4.202 on Windows 7 machine with Czech locale
2. Try changing UI language to US English
3. This does not work, menus are Czech
ription:

Current behavior: Menus are in Czech even if I change UI to be English

Expected behavior: UI language changes according to UI language setting
Operating System: Windows 7
Version: 4.2.0.2 rc

Did you try an uninstall and then re-install LO without any language pack?

Please also try resetting your user profile and let us know if that helps: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile

Should this be still reproducible for you with the latest LO release please set this bug back to UNCONFIRMED. Should this issue be solved set it to WORKSFORME.

Setting to NEEDINFO until more detail is provided.
Comment 2 Boris 2014-01-24 12:56:25 UTC
Yes, I deleted the profile and re-installed LO with only one Language pack:
US English. Now everything works fine for me. Thinking of the way how to
fix the bug, maybe the solution is to allow just one language pack to be
installed? The problem is fixed for me, but thinking of general LO QA, this
is not a fix, it is a workaround.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Boris
