Created attachment 93853 [details] The file that produces the behaviour Formatted text is not restored properly. 1)In the attached document go to master view an click and mark a a text 2)from the context menu select character. 3) cycle through all the tabs without changing anything result: the text will change size
Created attachment 93854 [details] Template file that does the same thing 1) Open the otp file. Go to the second slide. The header is shown as Candera, left aligned 2) Click on the header, without chaning anything click outside the header The text if reformatted to Arial and centered.
I can confirm that I have persistent problems with formatting: both making changes to the Master Slide (formatting doesn't seem to have any effect) and when saving presentations (everything has been reset to "Default" text layout. I use text styles heavily as I like to have consistency in the presentations - they just don;t seem to work in presentations.
Comment 1 is for me not reproducible with LO 4.2.1.1 (Win 8.1). But Comment 2 is for me reproducible with LO 4.2.1.1 (Win 8.1).
Supplement to my comment: With Comment 1 I mean the original first entry from Johannes (named as "Description") and with Comment 2 the second entry from Johannes (named as "Comment 1").

For the issue in the original description I can't reproduce this. Which text snippet should I click and mark to reveal the issue? For the issue in comment #1, is this a bug? If I view the master slide the title is supposed to be Arial centered, so the title just reset to this if I click in it, and then click outside it (without entering any text) Setting as Needinfo to get input on original issue. I don't see this issue actually being confirmed by any commentators either Resetting to default priority - I found this issue by looking at the Most Annoying Bugs list Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: beae6c7a7f163daad0d4dea63a3d403af2745fd1 CPU threads: 2; OS: Mac OS X 10.13.6; UI render: default; VCL: osx; TinderBox: MacOSX-x86_64@49-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2018-12-06_23:52:29 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded
