Description bugquestcontri 2014-03-24 03:19:19 UTC
Problem description:
i searched the help file in Calc for information on how to edit/delete a hyperlink button but did not find any hint.

Searching AskLibO I found:
http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/16195/how-to-edit-or-remove-hyperlink-button-in-calc/

and there the important information:

Open the Form Design of Form Controls toolbar (Menu/View/Toolsbar)
The second button change design mode on/off, change to on and I hope you can select and edit the button.

Tested with LO 4.3.2.2, Win 8.1:
For me this seems to be reasonable, but I am not sure where/in which section of the LO help. Maybe in the help section for INSERT -> HYPERLINK -> Help button (?)

I had again a look in Calc (Lib 4.2.7.2 on XP) and did:
- Help
- Search term: hyperlink
- Selected: Edit Hyperlinks

Result: I got the correct description for Writer however nothing for Calc.

As an overall result I still don't know how to edit a hyperlink in Calc because the explanation mariosv gave in AskLibO ( see link in my first report) did not help me.

Editing a hyperlink in Calc means always delete the cell and a new hyperlink.

In respect to the question on where to put the information I would say
Edit > Hyperlink

Changed title as this is a help content issue, and blocks bug 80430.

To edit an existing link, select the cell containing the link and click the Hyperlink icon on
the Standard toolbar. The Hyperlink dialog opens. If the Hyperlink is in button form, the spreadsheet must have Design Mode on in order
to edit the Hyperlink. Make your changes and click Apply. If you need to edit several hyperlinks,
you can leave the Hyperlink dialog open until you have edited all of them. Be sure to click Apply
after each one. When you are finished, click Close.

To, on the Design mode, go to view and then toolbar and select form control. Now you can turn design mode on or off by clicking on it.

Above description worked for me.

Operating system: All
Version: 6.2.3 release
