Description narayanaras 2014-04-03 05:56:24 UTC
MicroSoft Office can save presentations in autoplay mode by saving the file with pps extension. Please provide a similar facility for odp files also.

Currently the only workaround is to save the file as pps, but this operation warns the user that some UNSPECIFIED non-compatible features would be removed. Without knowing the datails, the user cannot take this risk.

Therefore the Impress should have a native format that starts the file in autoplay mode when opened. If the opendocument format specification does not allow that, then at least there should be a flag embedded inside the file that signals to Impress that the file is to be opened in autoplay mode.
