Hi, With Version: 4.2.2.1 Build ID: 3be8cda0bddd8e430d8cda1ebfd581265cca5a0f LO refuses to insert the sequence into an Impress page, stating that the format is unrecognized. This is despite the fact that the file displays and is presented fine in the OSX Quicktime player. Will test later with my 4.3 master build, but I have built LO with VLC support on that, so the results may well be different. Alex
So my master builds from the day before yesterday (14/04), whether built with or without the --enable-vlc switch, no longer enable me to insert any Quicktime supported video file into an Impress slide via (Insert - Image/Video) - I always get the error "unsupported format". This is the case too with the test video file provided in this bug report.
I would mention that my builds are 64bit on OSX 10.9.2.

On OSX 10.9.2, build 64 bit Version: 4.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: bfed8b9c9b76ea8eca7c4938d86b3a6ea6436b6e I can see the preview of the mp4, but if I launch the slideshow, no video is displayed, merely whitespace. The sound can be heard, however.
LO 64bit build master 4.3 alpha 27/04/2014 Build ID : c6c286f14468d341f5d88edc39a37175a1b6caa No videos of any kind can be inserted.
