This bug appears on two different MacOSX machines running the same versions of MacOSX and LibreOffice.
Reproduced using 4.3.0.3 (aka RC3, 64-bit) on OS X 10.9.4. The same applies to time fields (inserted from Insert > Fields), and applies to both fixed and variable fields. A workaround is to highlight only the inserted field and go to Edit > Fields… and choose the field type and format.
Problem persists in 4.4.12 running on Yosemite 10.10.2
Problem persists in 4.4.2.2.
No repro on Win. Win 7 Pro 64-bit, Version: 5.0.2.2 (x64) Build ID: 37b43f919e4de5eeaca9b9755ed688758a8251fe Locale: fi-FI (fi_FI)
Problem persists in LibreOffice 5.0.2.2 under Mac OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite. This probably only shows up on a mac.
Problem persists with 5.1.1.2 MacOSX El Capitan 10.11.4
Repro. Version: 5.1.1.3 Build ID: 89f508ef3ecebd2cfb8e1def0f0ba9a803b88a6d CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Mac OS X 10.11.4; UI Render: default; Locale: en-US (en.UTF-8)
