Description Marie Anne Cagas 2014-08-05 11:11:49 UTC
Problem description: This works in previous versions of the Writer. With the new version however, I cannot get my desired result. I convert my docx file into MS Word 2003 xml. This file is a database of variables and their corresponding metadata. Once converted, I merge this file with my master xml file, matching variables between the 2 files, so that metadata from this database will be incorporated in my master file.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Save docx file as MS Word 2003 xml
2. Merge xml file with master file using index.php

Current behavior:
The script runs smoothly without errors but my files are not merged i.e. metadata of variables from database is not integrated into the master file.

Expected behavior:
This database should be able to merge into the master file just like in the previous versions of the Writer.

Apparently your system does not allow zip attachments and I have several files for this procedure. Please let me know how else I can send you my files.

Hoping for a quick response.

Thank you very much.

Hello Marie,

Bugzilla does allow zip files, but doesnt permit files over ~3mb, so if these files are large, then i'd suggest hosting them on google drive, one drive, drop box, and then providing the link.

Hi Jay(?),

Here is a link to my files:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/iunctjt1bpcpba8/AAD1HoCFxasZz1-6PcllJ71Ma.
Readme.pdf gives instructions on how to run the script to merge the 2
files.

Thanks.

Hi Shine,

I used the name Marie in my last comment because 'Marie Anne Cagas' is what is shown here in bugzilla.

I checked the Readme.pdf and dont see where i can find 'LFS2001DataDDIElements.doc', so can you please provide a direct link for me to find this fine.
