I've been trying the 4.3 version, and I'm impressed. Sadly there's one simple problem that bothering me, which is I can't add a digital signature when my files were saved not as a *.odt. Is it possible to add a digital signature in any other office format, since most of my colleagues and supervisor were using common office format such as doc, docx, xls, etc. Another thing that make me curious is, I know that LibreOffice is a free program. But is it possible to develop a payed version with a better user interface such as a tabbed feature that allowing to open multiple document or spreadsheet file within the same window, to make it simpler and quicker to switch between them. Or maybe add some ribbon feature. Well, for me personally, I wouldn't mind to pay an extra bucks to get a better office suite with a better performance and experience Operating System: Windows 8 Version: 4.3.1.2 release

Bug 65393 is addressing a problem with supporting signatures in DOCX files. Not sure if that covers this aspect of this request. Can you please clarify? Status set to NEEDINFO. Please set back to UNCONFIRMED once the requested information is provided. Summary amended for clarity. Platform set to All/All. > is it possible to develop a payed version with a better user interface > such as a tabbed feature that allowing to open multiple document > or spreadsheet file within the same window Bug 37134 covers tab-per-document and bug 33173 tab-per-section-within-a-document. > Or maybe add some ribbon feature. This is unlikely to ever happen. Reasons explained here: http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/31778/when-will-libreoffice-have-a-ribbon-ui-as-in-ms-office-2007-2013/?answer=31826#post-id-31826

Please check if this is described by bug 58442 or bug 58476? Each report details a different problem relating to signature handling for ODF in round-trips with MS Office 2013/365. Do you still want this report to remain open or should it now be closed? Thanks.
