(Free) English Translation: If the laptop is connected with the network cable LO always waits 5 seconds until it starts to save a file. The save process works fast, but the delay is annoying. Also if he wants to close a file LO waits 2 - 3 seconds until the window is closed. He doesn't experience this with other software. My current tests: I can't reproduce it with LO 4.3.1.2 (Win 8.1). @Mr. Welche LibreOffice Version verwenden Sie? English translation of the question to Mr. Löw: Do you have this problem only with a specific file or with all files, e.g. also with a new file? Is it due to the file size? Do you have this problem only if the network cable is connected? Which operating system are you using? Which LO version are you using?
Free English Translation for other users: Feedback from Günther: He has only to wait if the network cable is connected. It doesn't depend on the type of file (new, old, small, large). It takes 5 seconds to save the file. He is using LO 4.2.6. With Apache OpenOffice he has the same problem. He hasn't had these problems with his old laptop. He is working with Windows 7. Feedback to Günther: Could this maybe be linked to the router settings? Could you please check whether it is caused by the router configuration/connections. I have found a similar old bug where a user had to wait long until a file was open if the network cable was conntected (see bug 74326). In that case LO seemed to try to open a connection without success.
