Created attachment 107664 [details] Formula getting vanished Would like to higlight the issue with Libre calc, the formulas created with fresh ODS files are vanished today. but still the value remains same. Attaching the file for reference. Seriously the values are making us crazy. Please refer the cell M8 and N8. The formula in the cell M8(=SUM('Estimation new_2'.V39:V40)+V43+V45) was done yesterday and saved which returned value 360.046112. The next day we opened the same sheet the value 360.046112remains the same but formula has been changed to =SUM('Estimation new_2'.V39:V40)+V43+V45.When we tried hard recalulate the value changes. But we need to know how it happened. We also tried all the possible ways to simulate the issue. No go. Your help is highly appreciated. Regards, SriJanani
Sorry I'm confused. Still trying to understand.. Did you mean M8 should be =SUM('Estimation new_2'.V39:V40)+'Estimation new_2'.V43+'Estimation new_2'.V45 ? But after filesave, close & reopen the file M8 changed to =SUM('Estimation new_2'.V39:V40)+V43+V45 ? @SriJanani, please retest using fresh profile & LO 4.3.2.2 before posting your answer here.

Tried change M8 back to =SUM('Estimation new_2'.V39:V40)+'Estimation new_2'.V43+'Estimation new_2'.V45 then save, close, reopen the file. Unable to reproduce, formula still persist. *) Tested with LO 4.2.7.1 and 4.3.3.1 - Ubuntu 12.04 x86 @SriJanani, I think we need exact reproducible steps from scratch if you still can reproduce the issue in latest release.
opened test file with 4.3.0.4 and 4.3.2.2 under Windows M8 cell contains this formula: =SUM('Estimation new_2'.V39:V40)+'Estimation new_2'.V43+'Estimation new_2'.V45 I edited the file elsewhere then save, closed and reloaded it: in LibO 4.3.0 the M8 cell changes to: =SUM('Estimation new_2'.V39:V40)+V43+V45 in LibO 4.3.2 the M8 cell formula remains the same with no change. so this was a bug of early 4.3.x release, since I reproduced it with 4.3.0.4 and you reported it with 4.3.1.1 but looks fixed in 4.3.2.2. so, as ign_christian suggested, please upgrade to 4.3.2.2 which is the latest release and retest. in the meantime I mark this as RESOLVED WORKSFORME. feel free to revert status if you still reproduce the bug after upgrade.
