You have template in folder foo
Selected is category Documents
now change to e.g. Presentation
 > folder foo is left, all available folders are shown
I would expect foo to remain open

Discussed this in the design chat, we want to keep the current behavior.
If you want to filter by application *and* category, you need to select the application first.
