I went to find out about which version of LibreOffice I have installed, only know it as LibreOffice 4.2.  Went to Help and About.  Crash takes place in both the Writer and the spreadsheet app.  Error message:

missing whitespace before attribute in
file:///C:/Program%20Files/LibreOffice%204/program/../share/config/
soffice.cfg/cui/ui/aboutdialog.ui

Hit OK and the program closes.  Successfully recovers the document I was working on in Writer.

I will file the report and go back and download the latest LibreOffice version.

OS is Windows 7 on a Pentium 4 2.40GHz with 2.00GB memory

I was reading to find out how to embed fonts in my PDF, encountered a bug report online and looked to see what version I have installed.  Crash.

4.2 is EOL so no more releases will come out. That being said:

Tested with:
Windows 7
LibreOffice 4.3.1.2 release

No crash - setting to WFM. Please test with 4.3.2 (or newer). If you can reproduce the same problem, start with a fresh profile https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile

If you can still reproduce, leave a comment and set the bug back to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks!
