Created attachment 110962 [details] Badd looking sidebar Hi, If you dock the sidebar on the left, sometimes it's not well drawn. Steps to reproduce : - Create two documents windows - Dock the sidebar on the left on the first one and on the right on the second one - Select the first one (and place the window on the left side of the screen) - Go to the second one (and place the window on the right side) - Result, the sidebar docked on the left is bad
TESTING with Ubuntu 14.04 + LO Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: df62a2c81bef2bcd96a5f14802e41815f0bdc2da TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2014-12-09_22:40:23 (In reply to Arnaud Versini from comment #0) > Steps to reproduce : > - Create two documents windows > - Dock the sidebar on the left on the first one and on the right on the > second one > - Select the first one (and place the window on the left side of the screen) > - Go to the second one (and place the window on the right side) > - Result, the sidebar docked on the left is bad CONFIRMED. Both windows show the same redraw problem
Confirming still present in master with Windows 7 sp1, 64-bit en-US with Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 629a705c127661111c54e14035b55850e36c2167 TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2014-12-10_07:01:18 Locale: en_US With two or more document windows open (any mix of writer and calc--draw & impress not affected, no sidebar in math), any sidebar left docked will be affected by any menu or UI actions in another. Looks to be a GTK UI draw issue for the left-docked sidebar that incorrectly refreshes for any menu or UI action in the other. And on refresh/redraw, the tab bar widget and the deck widget look to both be trying to anchor top left. Isn't this just the sidebar GTK widgets attachment detail getting lost? Open/close, or change to different content panel, of the affected sidebar redraws correctly.
