Description gooly 2014-12-18 13:08:04 UTC
Hi,
the template admin. is nothing but inoperative!
1) The icons are a lot too big and cannot not be deselected to e.g. listform.

2) The icons get a dark blue back ground if selected so that their name (printed in black) cannot be read anymore.

3) If I change an existing template and want to save it
  a) I type in the name,
  b) I get the window to confirm to overwrite the old one
  c) I can see a new different icon
  d) but if I want to create a new file base on that template I get an error: not found

Hello,
1 - enhancement
2 - I can read the text. Could you post printscreen?
3 - I can not confirm. I can change template and open changed template.

LO 4.3.4, win7

Please could you test with version 4.3.4? Thank you

tried with version 4.3.4, win7 default default theme. Blue is lighter on my pc, so probably theme depending. Is your printscreen from LO 4.3.4?

As I said I have LO 4.2.7.2 to be save with most stable version.
It's a bit a pity that LO hasn't a long term supported stable version (see Ubuntu)
Comment 9 raal 2014-12-18 21:25:04 UTC
I can confirm with LO 4.3.4 and Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: 31e8084fc07c3de09230c0f0c6ed947b3de98df1
TinderBox: Win-x86@42, Branch:master, Time: 2014-12-07_06:59:33

Steps to reproduce:
open calc file (can be new empty file)
File-Template-Save as template; select My template; click button Save
enter name "aa"; close file; open calc; File-Template-Template manager
open template "aa"; write something into file
File-Template-Save as template; select My template; click button Save
Message:A template named aa already exist in My Templates. Do you want to overwrite it? ; click Yes
open template "aa"

Actual result:
Error message:Error creating a new document:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\LibreOfficeDev\4\user\template\aa.ots does not exist.

In path C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\LibreOfficeDev\4\user\template\ exists file aa1.ots with changes.

1 bug = 1 bugreport.
For "1-The icons are a lot too big and cannot not be deselected to e.g. listform." file new bugreport.

Please test whether this bug still appears with 5.2/5.3. There have been many changes in that area.
