While in the styles and formatting dialog, the right-click context menu gives you easy access create a new, modify and delete a style, but no easy access to duplicate one. It isnt a problem when you are in a style category which lets you inherit from another style, but when for example you are in page styles list and i want to have a duplicate copy of 'Default Style', it isnt easy.
Love this one. (I see a link already with duplicate Master slides in Impress ;) ) Cor

Bug 41316 has been already filled for the case of page styles.
(In reply to Francisco from comment #2) > Bug 41316 has been already filled for the case of page styles. That bug goes into hierarchical parent-child relationships support for page styles, which would also be a great addition.

Yes, but it think they are related: it is possible to duplicate styles of all styles that allow to be hierarchical.

No doubt that they are related, though by hierarchy the child style only has to store the difference between it and the parent and with non-hierarchy it stores all the style settings. :D
We're replacing our use of the 'ux-advise' component with a keyword: Component -> LibreOffice Add Keyword: needsUXEval [NinjaEdit]
Why component Writer? Calc, Impress, Draw ... all use styles
(In reply to Cor Nouws from comment #7) > Why component Writer? Calc, Impress, Draw ... all use styles The chance to get things implemented increase when a component is assigned. The fact that styles are used in Calc for some reason is not helpful in Writer. But anyway, I'm also fine with the generic category.
There is no further UX input needed, removing keyword and ML.
