Description arya766 2015-01-05 21:47:36 UTC
Writer hangs when copying a web page, and browses images anew, instead of using web browser's already browsed picture.
It actually does the first page of the document very, very slowly, but hangs for more pages.
Another thing is that it doesn"t keep the browsed images; every time you go to another page, it needs to refresh and browse the pictures anew (apparently directly from the webpage, and neither from web browser's cache, nor from its own).
Thank you

Even worse! Each time I close the document and open again, it browses the picture from the web! Doesn't save in itself at all!

And yet another thing:
It doesn't care what my "default style" is; obeys the webpage. So each copy-paste means changing the font and point anew.

Hi Arya,
How are you copying-in a web page to Writer?

1) The 4.2 branch is EOL so please upgrade to a 4.3 build:
https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

2) Could you please upload an example file showing how the images are linked instead of being embedded?
