Clayton -- please put the version of LibreOffice in the field above. Thanks
Version: 4.3.5.2 Build ID: 3a87456aaa6a95c63eea1c1b3201acedf0751bd5
bug confirmed. those dropdown menus are not shown in LibO. bug is present in any LibO releases I tested (including 3.3.3, 4.3.2 and 4.5.0 alpha) and in AOO 4.1.0 and OOo 3.3.0 as well. hence the bug is inherited from OOo. I add a Calc developer to CC list to see what he thinks about.
Created attachment 112693 [details] VERSION XX of cell site spreadsheet I have an update on the spreadsheet I gave you to work with. I feel the original I have been having so much trouble working with may be corrupt from its original source, version XX is one I have been playing with all day and have had no issues with the saving or the dropdowns. I have been saving the original as an xlsx. it has been nothing but difficult. I saved it in libo as an ods file and opened it in excell it said it had deleted something. excell stripped all the drop downs. I resaved it as an ods in excell made new drop downs. since then have had no pop up asking to link to anything and drop downs are working fine. before I was having issues saving as an xslx file from Libo (it would strip cell colors and fonts and have conflicts with excell) I have added my new spreadsheet version XX I hope this helps
