Description Sumit Kumar 2015-01-22 07:33:54 UTC
LibreOffice feature of inserting (non-office) documents/objects inside another document seems buggy. This feature requires cleanup and fixes.
Importing such documents created by MS Office: Buggy – sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't
Exporting such documents from LibreOffice: Not present for .docx/.pptx/.xlsx and buggy for .doc/.ppt/.xls

Sumit: Sounds like you have a good deal of experience with this problem. Could you please provide an example of a file that doesn't import well from MS-Office?

(eventually you might want to file multiple bugs here, but let's just start with a single test file :-)

Status -> NEEDINFO

(After you provide the file, please change status back to UNCONFIRMED. Thanks!)
