Description Bugzilla 2015-02-05 21:06:11 UTC
Some, but not all of my comments, are not being displayed in Calc
So am seeing empty boxes where I know there should be text.

Apologies , gone back to prior version Version: 4.3.5.2 since I need this to work. I can now see all comments again. One thing I have noticed is that it is recent comments (those created in 4.3.5) that do not apprear in 4.4.0.3. Older comments are still visible.

I think the newer comments are the ones that "vanish" in the newest version of Libre office. Some comments you can see and some not.

All the comments behave better under 4.3.5.2

Ok, you are using .xls format. I see the comment boxes without text in your example file.

These boxes use the font MS Sans Serif, which is missing in my system. I confirm 4.3 displays the text with a replacement font just fine.

However, I could not reproduce this from scratch by inserting a comment and changing the font to be some made-up one, saving as .xls and reloading.

I guess this can be bibisected with this repository:
http://dev-downloads.libreoffice.org/bibisect/win/bibisect_win_44.tar.xz.
Adding keyword 'bibisectRequest'.

Looks correct in 5.2.4.2 & 5.3.0.1 / Windows 7. Wasn't correct in 5.2.3.2.
Setting as WORKSFORME.
