In LibreOffice Writer v4.4.0.3

1-the button "chip" does not work, but says it must be activated with Shift + F12 - cf start of piture
2-when you double-click on an image the program stops - cf end of piture

For me not reproducible with LO 4.4.0.3, Win 8.1.
The icon/function "Bullets On/Off" works as expected.

Simon, your screenshot shows LO 4.3. But you write about LO 4.4.
Which exact OS are you using?

Could you provide more detailed reproduce steps as requested in comment 3. (I also do not understand, how to exactly reproduce this problem).
