Summary says it all really: It would be a huge help to be able to set the "Use only paper size from printer preferences" option, on the "Options" tab of the Print dialogue to a default value globally. When you are dealing daily with lots of files from different clients, and you don't care whether they've sent a document with a page format of "Letter" or "A4", but you just want to print it, it'd be great to be able to just print them without having to check this box every time. This is also inferred by others in bug #67576 and some would even argue that this should be the default behaviour anyway. Regardless of what the default state the Libreoffice team choose to set, the ability for the end user to determine their default is what counts. After all, I can set "Paper tray from printer settings" as a global default, so why not paper size?
Hi Russel, Thanks for your report. I have the impression that this is done by Tools > options > Load/save > General .. first section Load.. See the Help for that. But reading your post, that doesn't seem to work? Cheers, Cor
As far as I can tell, this is a duplicate of the older bug 79077, so I will mark it as such! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 79077 ***
