Description Humilulo 2015-02-06 20:32:44 UTC
In LibreOffice Calc, when i add the date in a footer, it displays only in MM/DD/YYYY format (in Print Preview). but my OS date format (in Windows) is 'YYYY-MM-DD'. I wouldn't call it a bug if Calc let us choose the format specifically, but forcing us into one set date format when it's not the desired format is certainly a bug to this user. :(

Hi Humilulo,

thanks for filing. I set this as a enhancement!

I also find it erroneous when LibO does not use the system-wide date format (YYYY-MM-TT in this case). However, even better would be the possibility to freely format the date in footer or header - like in a Calc cell or like in Writer date fields.
