Reproduction: create new desired LO file (writer, calc, draw or impress), insert a picture while sidebar is visible, select a picture, drag sidebar border to narrow/widen it. Result: sidebar starts vibrating, the LibreOffice window turns grey and not responding. Same behaviour using Unity and LXDE.

Marina, thank you for the responce. Two more conditions for bug reproduction: + LO GUI language Lithuanian lt_LT (With English GUI language (default) there is no bug) + drop-down "Graphic" in the sidebar should be expanded. Tested with fresh user profile too. Different View>Zoom options has no impact.
Hi Antanas, Tested with lt interface but I can't reproduce. In version 4.4.0.3 LibreOffice uses OpenCL. What about your graphics card? Mine is an "Intel® Ivybridge Mobile" and I'm using Gnome desktop.
Marina, I'm experience this bug on four different hardware including those VGAs – Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Intel Mobile 945GM ATI Radeon 3470 256MB SH PCIe Card. Waht is in common for all mentioned cases it is installation from "LibreOffice Packaging" team ppa.
Not reproducible Windows 7 sp1, 64-bit en-US nVidia GTX-260 Version: 4.4.0.3 Build ID: de093506bcdc5fafd9023ee680b8c60e3e0645d7 Locale: en_US But, not able to test with a lt-LT localization on Windows.
Antanas, can you try to use TDF official packages? You can install multiple versions of LibreOffice in parallel. See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel/Linux You can download the packages from http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ or grab them directly from here: http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/4.4.0/ Please, from the affected LibreOffice, can you copy and paste the informations reported on Help->About LibreOffice. (Version, Build ID and Locale) and the output of the command: lsb_release -a
Marina, (In reply to Marina Latini from comment #7) > Antanas, > can you try to use TDF official packages? Yes. I just did a try with official packages (both main and Lithuanian UI) – no joy. The bug still there. (Additionaly got a Windows 7 machine and installed official Win package. Using lt_LT GUI resizing sidebar produces no buggy behaviour.) > Please, from the affected LibreOffice, can you copy and paste the > informations reported on > Help->About LibreOffice.
