Five column CSV file

When opening the attached FIVE-column (where the first X in the fifth column only appears in row 1670!) "lift & v100+.s8.csv", with the following options on the import dialogue

Western Europe (DOS/OS2-437/US)
English (UK)
From row 1

Separated by Comma + Merge Delimiters + Text delimiter "

Quoted Fields as text + Detect Special numbers both ticked

The "Fields area" only shows FOUR columns. Only scrolling down to row 1670 will expand this to the expected 5 "standard" columns - BAD!

It gets worse:

Now click "Fixed width" and the "Fields area" shows only 22 columns - the column containing the "X"es is gone again. Only scrolling down to row 1670 will expand this to the expected 24 columns - BAD!

It gets even worse:

Now, without doing anything, re-select "Separated by" and this time the "Fields area" only shows TWO columns (and I've seen even one on occasion) - VERY BAD!

Screenshot with the X imported

Hi, thanks for reporting.

Going down to your mentioned row shows the X value, see the attached screenshot. Pressing Ok the importations is done properly.

Resolved as works for me. Please if you are not agree, reopen it.
