Hi All,

4.4.0.3 rpm

I do love the way LO won't let you edit a read only file until you Save As. Saves
a lot of trouble and is a great feature.

I have several files I have saved as "Read Only". I pull them up and "Save As" to give them a new name. Then I can edit them.

Problem: 4.4.0.3 won't let me edit them anymore (prior version did). Now I have to exit the document, reopen the document, then Calc will let me have fun.

Please restore the "edit after Save As" functionality.

Many thanks,
-T

I can not confirm with Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: 52b25c1adf3a70819aea2080b0ad50a14a3c104b
TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2015-02-17_03:10:47

steps:
 - new file; file properties-> Security -> set "open file read only)
 - close ,reopen; warning "file is read only"
 - save as new file. I can edit file.

Same as raal: can immediately start editing after save as in Calc (& Writer).

When in doubt, reset user profile: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/User_Profile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile

Thanks for testing! As we have no idea on which commit fixed it, I'll change the status to WORKSFORME.
