Suppose you have a calc file with two tabs. On tab 1 you place an image. save and close file. Now: Whenever you open the .ods the image on tab 1 is NOT displayed (only the placeholder). However: if you then click on tab 2 and then change back to tab 1 (by clicking on tab 1), the image is shown. So it seems the image is not displayed only directly after the file was opened and the tab with the image is loaded for the first time. BTW, this behaviour is exactly the same if you place the image on tab 2 and tab 2 is displayed after file load. I re-tested with an empty .ods with just two tabs and an image in each tab. Obviously, this worked in versions of LO before 4.4

I reproduce the described behavior with my own builds of LibreOffice 4.4.2.0.0+ and of the master under Ubuntu 14.10 x86-64. No such issue with version 4.3. Set status to NEW.
Forgot to add that I reproduce the behavior in 4.4 and master with option "Use OpenGL for all rendering" disabled. Best regards. JBF
To complement the previous comment: The bug is also reproducible with the option "Use OpenGL for all rendering" enabled.

This bugs seems to be fixed with LibreOffice 4.4.2.1. Maybe this was a duplicate of tdf87820.
