Description bugreporter 2015-02-23 20:46:18 UTC
Recipe:

- Open Calc
- Create a new (empty) spreadsheet
- Select a range of cells with 2 columns and N rows (I selected range D5:E9)
- Fill the first column with strings (I used: a, b, c, d, e)
(- Now I reselected the range placing the cursor on the first cell of the range - I do not hink this is relevant, but reporting this just to be safe)
- Select from the menu: Insert - Names - Create
- Left column should arelady be selected so press Ok

Result:
- Deadlock of calc with 100% CPU usage (single core)
- One must force-quit Calc and restart it

Extra info:
- I am using the German user interface package on my Linux machine (x86-64) and encoutner this bug
- I also encountered it on a 64bit win7 installation.
- I know that his bug already existed in 4.3.xxx not sure about if it was there earlier and which version I had installed before I updated my Libreoffice today - sorry

Thank you for reporting the bug. I can confirm bug in LO 4.3.3 but cannot confirm with Version: 4.5.0.0.alpha0+
Build ID: 52fa2e97dfef1a5f27aaee6af7ed80800641b86c
TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@46-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2015-02-22_01:03:18

It's fixed in newer version. Set again to unconfirmed if you're able to reproduce crash in dev version.
