Description Henry 2015-02-24 18:03:20 UTC
Program has been frequently crashing, program closes out automatically, when attemmpting to group text box and a label. Have to delete the original label and text box to successfully group the item. Appears to be a memory leak?

odb file that bugs out.

Changed Java from the OPEN JDK version to the JDK version from Oracle. Seemed to improve substantially as far as the frequency of occurence: only once since switching.
Comment 3 Henry 2015-02-26 15:52:48 UTC
java version: java version "1.7.0_71"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_71-b14)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.71-b01, mixed mode)
henry@HWKDBN:~/bld/openoffice/main/instsetoo_native$

Platform: Debian Jessie AMD64

Using Debian Distribution Libre Office Version: 4.3.3.2
Build ID: 430m0(Build:2)

To reproduce the bug I'll take a previously ungrouped Text Box and Label. I'll group the Label and the Text Box. After grouping the two controls the program crashes.

Edited form Employee data.
Selected First name and its field.
Right-click, ungrouped.
Grouped First name with its field.

Repeated process over 10 times without crash, both on Win & Linux.

Java 1.8 both on Win & Linux.

No feedback since 7 months, let's put this one to WFM.

Henry: don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you still reproduce this with a recent LO version + brand new LO profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#GNU.2FLinux)
