Description lutzdreyer 2015-02-28 12:27:45 UTC
No line break is inserted at hyphen between two long words. This behavior is independent of language settings (I tried German and English), and could be reproduced using another user on the same PC. It occurs with and without automatic hypenation.
This bug appeared in Ubuntu 12.04, using LO 4.3.6.2 from ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-3 and could not be reproduced in Win XP, LO 4.3.6.2 in the same file (see attachment).

Thanks for trying and your reply!
I also could not reproduce the issue with Ubuntu 14.04 with the same LO version (4.3.6.2) from the same PPA. Still, on my other machine, Ubuntu 12.04, the bug can be reproduced at any time. I'll see what the next minor upgrade does...

I was also unable to reproduce using:

Ubuntu 14.10 64 bit
LO 4.3.3.2
Comment 7 lutzdreyer 2015-04-01 16:21:10 UTC
The bug _could_ be reproduced on another machine's, fresh, virtual Ubuntu 12.04.5, using 4.3.6.2 and the same ppa. It could _not_ be reproduced using LO 4.4.2 on Ubuntu 14.04.

Version 4.3 will not receive any updates.
Have you seen the bug in any machine with version 4.4?

I'm hoping we could close this as WORKSFORME.

Set to NEEDINFO, while we wait for more information.
