Description Soufiane 2015-03-09 16:19:57 UTC
In LibreOffice-4-3-6 Calc I Cannot save text color after change it. when I apply different colors to a part of the text in a cell (or set the text to bold). I saved file, and then opened it my modifications are lost.

Same problem on libreoffice-4-3-6 Ubuntu 32 and 64 bits.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Calc, in a cell write a text, change text color for a part of the text.
2. Save document.
3. Open document.
4. modifications lost.

Any ideas about how to fix will be welcome.

Thanks.

Hi Soufiane, thanks for reporting.

I can't reproduce with 4.3.6.2 (Win7x64).

Please what file format do you use to save?

Hi m.a.riosv,
I'm using a spreadsheet in 4.3.6.2 (Win7x64) and save the file as (.ods)

To reproduce: Don't save the whole text in the cell, just a part of it.
Comment 3 m_a_riosv 2015-03-09 23:59:17 UTC
Please detail step by step what do you do?
Comment 4 Soufiane 2015-03-10 09:02:22 UTC
steps to reproduce :

step 1: Open libre office calc
step 2: go into a cell and write some text
step 3: select the half of the text you wrote, and change it color
step 4: save document and quit libreoffice
step 5: open the same document
step 6: the colored text still black.

Thanks.

Hi everbody,

Indeed there is no problem with the version 4.3.6 downloaded from TDF web site.
But when I'm cloning the sources from git://anongit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core and try to build libreoffice I have this problem.
Where did you get the sources to build libreffice ?

Thanks in advance.

@raal

If its work on latest build then please make status as RESOLVED and WORKSFORME.
So that is useful for another QA or Dev.
